Season 2 Patch Notes Released

As we wind down to the final races of the inaugural STSC season here are a couple of changes across the board for Season 2:

Tier 1 – STSC

Tracks

We removed tracks that had horrible camera angles and were prone to many incidents, impeding continuous racing for more than a few laps. The majority of ¼ mile tracks were removed as a result.

Tracks Removed: Slinger Speedway, Oxford Plains Speedway, Berlin Raceway

Tracks Added: South Boston Speedway, Salem Speedway, Iowa Speedway

Racing

The goal in Tier 1 is to have new users focus on the racing aspect and less on the pit crew.

  • Pitting will be set to x1 (instead of x3)

Sponsorships

The goal with sponsorship updates was to give a wider variety of choice, making harder goals realistically achievable by the top drivers in Tier 1 and giving more options for late joiners.

  • Sponsors will be able to be shared between tiers. Example: A T2 driver and a T1 driver will both be able to sign with the same sponsor. (Note: Two drivers from the same tier cannot sign with the same sponsor)
  • Sponsor Goals have been tweaked and adapted for the new format. Lower end goals for the safer drivers and latecomers are there!
